Research Semester

The majority of ARHU 206 is reserved for the completion of the student's Keystone Project and presentation of the project in a public forum including conferences, publications, exhibitions, and performances.

This course offers students the opportunity to revise and complete their Honors Humanities Keystone Projects through independent study. The criterion for success in this endeavor is that course participants significantly improve the drafts of their projects submitted at the conclusion of ARHU205. This criterion may be met by developing new project elements, by refining existing project elements, or by combining both of these activities. Students are strongly encouraged to present their work in a public forum before the conclusion of the semester. For an example of such a forum, see the program for Spring 2008's POPsmARTs Undergraduate Research Symposium.
